- Susan (Cain) Speropulos, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Florida, SW8130) is the Founder/Executive Director of Florida Adoption Home Studies. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Clark University, and a Masters of Science in Social Work from Columbia University.
- Susan has over 27 years of experience in mental health and in domestic, kin-ship, intervention and complex adoptions. She has been conducting home study investigations for private adoption since 2005. She is a proud Native of Stamford, Connecticut and currently resides near Pensacola, Florida with her four daughters.
- Susan has extensive training in Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PET) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. She has extensive training and demonstrated expertise in Schema Therapy. She currently counsels individuals (including biological moms), and couples throw Grow Therapy.
- Susan is designated a Qualified Supervisor by the State of Florida 491 board. She is a Florida Notary. She is a national skilled presenter, college instructor, corporate trainer on employee assistance topics & psycho-social subjects, and therapeutic practices.
- Susan is a Certified Adoption Specialist by the National Council on Adoption providing adoption home studies & birth parent counseling/consent signings throughout Northwest Florida. Susan is certified in the SAFE home study model at the Supervisory level. Susan has a strong belief in empowerment, and inclusiveness as well as the notion that no child is unwanted rather families have just yet to be found.

John H. Griffin

- John H. Griffin is currently attending the Kent School of Social Work at the University of Louisville where he is pursuing a dual master's degree in MSSW and Gender Studies. He will be graduating in the Spring of 2023. He currently holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a Minor in Geographic Information Systems from the University of West Georgia. John is currently retired from the United States Air Force. His interests in adoption came from his time in the Air Force where he mentored and worked with foster children in his free time. His professional goals are to work with adoption, supervised visitation and with military families in the Northwest Florida region.
